What spells success on the net?

The same thing that spells success anyplace else. Sales. Return on Investment. (ROI) The bottom line is that if you’re not making money you’re not successful. So success in business is defined the same no matter if you’re a bricks and mortar business or an Internet only business. Profit.

What is the one best way to drive profits on the Internet?  Blogging.

Yup, that’s it. Blogging. It seems so simple on the surface but for some it can be very overwhelming and seem like it takes too much time, too much effort for very small results. But the truth is, blogging at least two to three times¬† a week will create success for your business whether it is a brick and mortar business or whether it is an Internet business.

You can have a service business, or you can sell products, either way, blogging is going to create the momentum that you need to get the traffic you need either foot traffic into your physical store, or web traffic that create sales.

Blogging can help attract your idea client by establishing you as an expert in your niche. Whether you are selling sheds, dental services, massages, or Virtual Assistant services a business blog can lead you right to success.

When you consider how many people are out there on the net, you really only need a very small fraction of those people to become your client to be successful. When you consider that most people now search the Internet before buying anything offline, much less online, you realize that if you’re not out there talking about what you do, you’re not going to be found.

If someone cannot read what you have to say, they might not feel comfortable buying from you. People today want to feel like they know you. They want to know that you would not send them to a product unless you believe in it. They want to know that you would not sell to them a service if you were not an expert in it.

Blogs can create this trust between you and your potential clients. Much more than that, it can create a situation in which your ideal client will find you. So, if you want success on the net, you need to blog.

Start today!

Having said that, guess what, this also creates an awesome niche for a Virtual Assistant. A virtual assistant that understands how blogs work, who knows how to use the technology be it WordPress or Typepad, and who can help their clients create content will be golden.
