Should You Blog On Your VA Website?

To blog or not to blog that is the question at hand! Everyone today is blogging and there is a lot of information on the web that is well written, informative and helpful to many others.

  • The question you have to ask yourself is what do you have to offer in a blog?
  • Do you have information that you can share with other virtual assistants that would be helpful to them?
  • Do you have a passion for writing that will allow you to write concise, interesting material that others will want to read?

If the answers to the above questions are yes then by all means – yes add a blog to your website. You can use it to connect with other virtual assistants on the internet. You can also use the blog to post about issues that you find in your everyday life as a virtual assistant.

You might find others have the same problems. You can share solutions you have found with problems or clients in your work day. You can also ask for advice or assistance with issues that you are having at the time.

This is a great way of networking with other virtual assistants that will only cost you some time, research and brain material. It can give you as much as you put into it. You will also find that the blog will help your website find a presence with potential clients and other readers as well.

  1. For me, these days I reserve my writing for my own, unrelated, personal blogs. I am just totally burned out on writing for career reasons.
