Happy Thanksgiving

As I get ready to leave for the holidays I wanted to tell everyone Happy Thanksgiving. In our family at dinner we go around the table and let each person tell what they are thankful for this year. So I wanted to tell you all what I am thankful for this year.

This year I am thankful for the freedom to be at home working for myself as a Virtual Assistant. I am thankful that I have such great clients and that no longer have to work with or for people with whom I don’t “click”. I can be selfish and work with people I like, and people who like me.

I can work at tasks that I find fulfilling and make me feel successful. I can help my clients become more successful because they respect my opinion and value my skills. I am thankful to be in this position because for so long I was miserable working for people I did not respect or even like.

I’m thankful that I can share with others how I started working for myself. I am thankful that I can tell others that they can do it too, that it is possible to create a career at home as a Virtual Assistant.

I’m thankful for my family, and for the support they offer because I don’t just work from home, I am also a wife and mother of four daughters. In addition I am in graduate school, so I am quite busy, but I am able to do this because I have their support. Thank you for that!

I am thankful for the readers who read this blog, and who email me, and who are beginning their own careers as Virtual Assistants. Thank you for being there too!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
