If you are a sole proprietor sometimes you may find that you get sick. When you are sick you might not be able to spend enough time on your client projects. Do you have a back up plan? Are you a member of a community of other Virtual Assistants that you can call on to assist with your clients until you are back on your feet?
There are many communities you can become part of, one that I really like and why I decided not to do run a forum here at VA Moms. I toyed with the idea, but the truth is, running a forum, and doing it properly is a lot of work.
Around the time I was trying to create a forum here, I discovered this one. The people there are very helpful and offer a lot of help to you that you won’t find elsewhere focused on Virtual Assistants. There are some free areas and some paid areas. I am a member of the paid area and I do hope to see you there. Remember that joining groups and organizations is classified as a business expense the same as joining your local chamber of commerce.

I am keeping this short. I am only posting because it’s happened to me. I am sick. I am probably getting surgery within the week. I won’t go into this more (maybe later) – but I wanted to just get on here real fast, from my lap top, and share that as a sole business person you really need a network who can help you and assist you when it is necessary. You need it and your clients need it.
